Andrew & Brian Pollard

Brothers Andrew and Brian Pollard say the key ingredients in their success are initiative, hard work, drive and tenacity. Opening their first Hut in 2003, their business has grown to six locations in as many years. ‘We now have real traction,’ says Andrew, ‘and we’re looking to accelerate our expansion throughout Scotland over the coming years’.

The brothers say it’s been a great few years for them – and they’re genuinely excited about the future. ‘There’s amazing support from Pizza Hut and their franchise partners, and we’ve made some great friends along the way. The Franchise Business Manager assigned to us is very encouraging and continually pushes us to get to the next level in our development.’

Aatish Nagar & Naj Noory

In 2007, Aatish and Naj purchased an existing Pizza Hut delivery store in Derby. They now run several Huts – and have exciting expansion plans for the next 5 years. ‘It isn’t rocket science,’ agree the partners. ‘If you deliver a hot, tasty pizza on time, every time, your sales will increase substantially. Just keep focusing on getting the basics right. The support systems and infrastructure are already in place: all we have to focus on is ensuring the product quality, service and image of our Huts are as positive as they can be.’

Aatish and Naj speak highly of the backing they receive from Pizza Hut. ‘Partnering is very much a two-way street. Pizza Hut are very supportive and prepared to listen to new ideas from their franchisees.’

Jit Patel

In June 2009 Jit purchased his first Pizza Hut Delivery in Wrexham from an existing franchisee. A month later he had opened a second in Blackpool – and the prospects for further growth are very healthy.

‘Franchising appeals because it’s less risky,’ Jit replies when asked why he chose this route. ‘The branding, system and model are already there. If you can buy into these and use your business acumen you can take it as far as you want to.’

Jit only chose Pizza Hut after careful consideration. ‘Before deciding which company to work with I looked at the brand, the potential to grow and the potential to earn. Pizza Hut ticks all of these boxes.’ He’s also full of praise for the support he’s received and the knowledge of his Pizza Hut contacts. ‘It’s not uncommon for my Franchise Business Manager to text me at 22:00 or when he’s on holiday. You can’t put a price on this level of dedication, knowledge and commitment. What more could I ask for?’
